Cody is right and some people are not taking the time to think about the possibility's that the mascots can offer and they over react to fast and don't think.
Not all people take offence and not all of the cultural mascots are deal with Native Americans. Like some people take offence to some tribal animals and people. Also with some native Americans don't take offence to the mascots. That is my statement and you cant chance it I believe we need cultural mascots.
Cultural mascots are the best mascots and connect to the community that is why we need cultural mascot. The cultural mascot ban is a not needed thing and they already got rid of half of the cultural mascots there are only 1000 left. If we get rid of the cultural mascots that are liked by other people will lose spirit and so will the community. In the future if we got rid of all the cultural mascots no one will remember the culture of that town and it's history and we need some cultural mascots if people like having the culture shown to the people an show their pride. That is why we should not get rid of the cultural mascots.
