But what if only 10 people do the dance it doesn't mean the whole tribe approved it.

I agree even if are warriors most of the teams don't show that.

But other teams that don't get there name approved by the tribe. Most of the time that happens the tribes don't like the name and want it to be changed.

I agree. It is offensive to the Native Americans because if the people were the wrong type of clothing that will make Native Americans mad.

But if they are wearing war face paint it will make them look like they get in a lot of wars

I agree, maybe they're not doing the right dance and it offends other people from the tribe. Also it might make other people look bad, in the Arab-American article it says if the mascot looks bad it will make the tribe look bad.

My evidence for the original post is when Indian mascot wear face paint on there faces it makes them look like they are mean.

However in the Native American Mascot Devalues Culture article it says Mr. Cooper took his daughter to a high school football game and she cried because the cheerleader made there dance look bad.

I think cultural mascots are bad because it is offensive to some African Americans. In the Honor or Insult article Barbara Munsun said it promotes negative stereotypes.
