Yes, but if the sports teams are asking the people to use their name in their sports teams to show respect for them, then the people that their name was going to be use to show them respect. Then the people normally would say yes to letting they use them if they would show respect which they are going to do that.

The mascots for the sports teams are already animals and Indians, which again like I said before they are showing respect not insulting people. Maybe where they are is in a certain place where the name they choose is all about where they live and they are supporting them and showing respect when they put them on sports teams.

NO, they are not trying to offend people they are showing respect to the people who are those things like the red Indians. The people should be honored that the sports teams are using their names for respect.

I think that the mascots that are used with names like the red socks, and Indians are not trying to offend or insult anyone in any way. When sport teams do use the names of peoples groups they are simply showing respect and honoring the people that are Indians, and the red socks.
